Moda — the PDF design tool I mentioned

The whole thingModa takes your existing PDF, extracts everything in it, and rebuilds it as a modern document styled to your own brand — colors, identity, structure — with chat-based edits before you export.

Quick note before anything else: this isn't something I built — I'm pointing you at it because the workflow is genuinely well thought out, not because it's mine.

The pitch is simple: your PDFs are ugly. Upload one, and instead of just re-flowing it into a template, Moda extracts the actual text, images, and structure, then lets you direct the redesign with a written prompt — your visual identity, your colors, keep this structure, change that. It's not a one-click "make it pretty" button.

  1. Pick what you're making (Document, Social, Carousel, UI Design, etc.)
  2. Upload the PDF — AI extracts all the text, structure, and messaging
  3. Describe the redesign direction in a prompt (your brand's colors/identity)
  4. Hit Create — it rebuilds the whole document around that direction
  5. Chat-refine specific sections before you're happy with it
  6. Export straight back out as a polished PDF

Where it's useful: resumes, proposals, invoices, reports — anything that started life as a plain document and needs to actually look designed, without hiring a designer or learning a design tool yourself.

I don’t have a verified public URL for this yet — if you have the real site, let me know and I’ll finish this out properly.
