Quick note before anything else: I didn't build Gesso — it's from a separate team (founders Min Kim and Tob Siripak), currently in beta. I'm pointing you at it because it's genuinely good, not because it's mine.
The pitch is "AI design software with taste." Instead of a chat window that spits out a generic-looking screen, you give it a brief — what the product does, who it's for, the vibe you're after — and it generates production-ready UI that actually reads as designed, not templated. No handoff step between "the design" and "the thing that ships."
Where it's useful: if you can write clearly about what you want but can't (or don't want to) push pixels yourself, this closes that gap faster than briefing a designer and waiting on revisions, and it produces something with more intention than the usual AI-website-builder output.
It's in beta, so expect some rough edges and possibly a waitlist depending on when you're reading this — worth trying regardless.
